Shoku looked at her through narrowed eyes when she mentioned him being the son of a hunter. "Yeah, I used to belong to a family of bastards that hunted wolves. Not because it was right, just because we were all sadistic enough to receive some sick thrill out of it. On one of my hunts, I faced the previous alpha of this pack and well obviously I was out of my league, and here we all are. My family tried to kill me as if they had never cared about me a day in my life. I don't trust people anymore, werewolf, vampire, or human, they all have twisted morals and ideas and they can all betray you in a heartbeat."
Shoku listened to Finn try to explain that he wasn't after a werewolf, because he would've been better equipped to deal with one. That doesn't change the fact that he was more than ready to kill one, the werewolf angrily thought to himself, but didn't voice it simply to end the arguing.
Looking down, he noticed that his arm was finally healing, now that the bullet had finally been removed, another hour or two and he'd be fully healed again. "Well, he didn't seem like a werewolf, and he didn't reek of death, so yes, he's still human. If you can really call one of them human."

"You can go after him if you want, it's your life and I won't stop you. I don't want you getting hurt because though I've not known you long, you're still part of my family and you're my responsibility, but if you go to a hunter, I won't be there to save you when and if something goes wrong." Shoku said, his voice void of any emotion, as if he was reading his words off a sheet of paper. Huge responsibility to be placed on a sixteen year old, no wonder the pack was falling apart and he was becoming more and more insecure.
